Dudley sat in his grey and blue replica Lions uniform, wearing an elated smile, just after the Lions started the season on the right path.  They had now one win, and no losses.    Joe had waited since1993, for any type of winning way.   He wanted to roar, like he did in 1957, “The Champion Lions”. This one is dedicated to an old College Friend Ben Colby.  Your Lions have a chance this year, Go Lions!  I think I said, a long time ago, that the Lions could never be Champions.   I will be eating crow, this year, hopefully.  

Punt Bama Punt

1972; a year before I was born. The score of the Iron Bowl was 16-3. Bama undefeated. Auburn hungry for a victory. Bama punts. Auburn blocks the point and runs it back for a touchdown. Score 16-10. Then the incredible happened, Bama punts again, again the same guy blocks the punt, and the same Auburn Tiger scores; the score now was 16-17. Auburn won. Punt 'bama punt; a rivalry had become even more fierce.
