A road Native-Time dusted.
A road Native-Time dusted.
The sun rays highlighted the dust that moved
across the dirt-road.
Tourists could hear a
drum beat, and smell Navajo bread wafting from the red adobe houses.
“Old Taos Men” beat their
tom toms. The men wore pants held up by turquoise designer belts; they waited
for the rich tourists' arrival. (35:365)
